THREE WAYS TO PAY.

WORLDPAY - SAFE - SECURE - ONLINE CREDIT/DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS.

The principal method of payment for orders on this site is by credit card using WorldPay's secure servers.

PLEASE NOTE

It is imperative that the account address you use is the same address to which your credit or debit card is billed to. If you create an account with an address different from that which you have your credit card billed to, then you will find your transaction will NOT be authorised by the bank as you are providing an address which is different to the one you have registered your credit card with. This may well trigger an alert and suspected fraud warning through the bank.

If you want your order delivered to an alternative address than the one you have your credit card billed to and the one you must use as your account address, then you may create up to 5 alternative addresses in your address book. This is no different than any other website that uses off site bank encrypted payment systems and is entirely for your benefit as well as a fraud prevention mechanism operated by all banks and credit card issuers.

Payments are shown in sterling only. We do not accept any other currency.Your credit/debit card will make the appropriate conversion to your domestic currency.

If you choose this option to pay for your order, you are taken off site on a secure connection, using 128bit encryption technology, and transferred directly to WorldPay's secure on line credit card system. Look for the locked padlock symbol at the bottom right hand corner of your browser window to confirm that the connection is secure.

WorldPay Guarantee

At no point will anyone at Luminescents be able to see or confirm your credit card details for the order you have placed or any previous orders you have made. You are no longer connected directly to the Luminescents website when making your payment. However, if your payment is authorised you will be returned to the Luminescents website and you will receive an automated e-mail from us to confirm that your order has been received.

PAYMENT SCREENS

It is a matter of record that people do NOT read what is on the screen in front of them so here is a short guide to making a payment by credit or debit card using off site 128bit encrypted payment systems - provided by the banks and the most secure of all internet payment systems.

CHECKOUT

When you are satisfied that you have added all the items you wish to order to your basket then click on CHECKOUT. The first screen you get is DELIVERY INFORMATION on which your chosen delivery address is confirmed (you can change this if you need to) and the postal options that are available to you are shown. The recommended postal option is already checked. It is the radio button on the right of the screen. If all is well then click the CONTINUE button in blue at the bottom of the screen. or make the changes you want to before doing so.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

This screen confirms your billing address and allows you to choose the payment method you prefer. Check the radio button to the right of the screen against either WORLDPAY SECURE CREDIT CARD or below it, CHEQUE and then click on the Blue CONTINUE button at the bottom of the screen. DO NOT CLICK on an image of a credit card. THIS IS AN ADVERT and you will just be taken to that credit card's own site. You haven't even confirmed your order yet so attempting to pay by clicking on an advert is hardly appropriate.

ORDER CONFRMATION

This page allows you to review what you have ordered, where it is going, how much the carriage is and if necessary make changes. Read it to make sure you are happy with your order. Click CONFIRM ORDER which is the blue button at the bottom of the page.

SECURE PAYMENT PAGE

You are now on The Royal Bank of Scotland's secure payment site called WORLDPAY. YOU ARE NO LONGER CONNECTED TO LUMINESCENTS. It is here that you choose the card type you wish to use PLEASE CLICK THE IMAGE OF THE TYPE OF CARD YOU ARE WISHING TOO USE AND ENSURE YOU CLICK ON THE CORRECT CARD TYPE - A VISA DEBIT, for instance, IS NOT THE SAME AS A VISA CARD - CHECK YOUR CARD IF IN DOUBT) and follow the banks instructions for payment. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT CLOSE YOUR BROWSER DOWN AT ANY POINT WHILST YOU ARE CONNECTED TO THE PAYMENT PAGES AND NO MATTER HOW LONG THE BANK TAKES TO PROCESS YOUR AUTHORISATION, STAY CONNECTED UNTIL YOU ARE RETURNED TO THE LUMINESCENTS WEBSITE. DO NOT PRESS OR CLICK ON ANY BUTTON TWICE. YOU MAY CLICK ON CANCEL IF YOU WISH TO CANCEL THE PROCESS HOWEVER.

IF YOU DO NOT WAIT TO BE RETURNED TO THE LUMINESCENTS WEBSITE - YOUR ORDER WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED - NO-ONE AT LUMINESCENTS WILL SEE IT AND THE AUTHORISED PAYMENT WILL SIT IN ESCROW AT THE BANK UNTIL A QUERY IS RAISED.

ORDER COMPLETE

When you get this screen it means that you have been returned to the Luminescents website, your order is confirmed and an automated e-mail has been sent to the email address you have registered to confirm your order. If you have made a mistake on entering your e-mail address then you will not get the automated e-mail and if you are using a hotmail account (inadvisable) then it is quite likely that your confirmation e-mail will be filtered out, be sent to spam or just never be forwarded. Using a hotmail account is at your own risk and Luminescents accepts no liability for your receipt of e-mails.

You may now continue to shop or, more importantly if you are finished LOG OFF or SIGN OUT of your account. If you have a trojan resident on your computer then leaving yourself logged in to an account and closing your browser down is dangerous for your security. This is important and good advice for any site where you have an account - always LOG OFF or SIGN OUT.

CHEQUE OR MONEY ORDER

If you would prefer not to use WorldPay or are sceptical about using on line credit card authorisation for your purchases, then Luminescents is happy to accept a cheque or money order and this option is available to you when you place your order and confirm it. Please note that cheque/money order payments should be made out in sterling (British Pounds) and your order will not be despatched until your cheque/money order clears unless you are a previously known customer.

If you would rather phone your order through to a customer service representative then please phone +44 (0) 208 544 9924 and have your credit card to hand. Our representative will take your order by phone and authorise payment from your credit card whilst you are still on the phone, confirming payment received and will, of course, answer any questions you might have.

PAYPAL

Finally, for die hard Paypal enthusiasts, simply e-mail your order though to paypalorders@luminescents.co.uk (highlight the address with your cursor and click - your e-mail client will open) and you will receive a confirmation of order received and a paypal payment button in a return e-mail.

Once your Paypal payment has been received, your order will be despatched. Please note that Paypal Payments will be shown as a credit to Captain Moonlight another Moonshine company which also owns Luminescents.
